Currently working at UNTHSC as 'that Linux guy' doing web based data collection (surveys, evaluations). Also, via the technology transfer office, I am working in a private venture called ACDET which provides web based training for doctors in differential diagnosis. I started my UNIX adventure on a 3B2 via dialup after taking a class in 1980. Shortly thereafter I obtained a 7300 running System V r2 hooked into usenet off of killer. I got my first UNIX admin job in the mid 80s and subsequently, in addition, was tasked with some C programming, which ultimately led to the job with the school working on the DDX tool (in C, perl4, dbm, cgi, perl5, mSQL, Postgres, mod_perl) which got spun off from the school around 2006.
