We are very fortunate to have JCPenney host our meetings. They provide facilities and extra staff to assist us. We are truly grateful!!

Please review important parking information, updated 12/5/02.

Please review important building access information, updated 12/26/02.

Step-by-Step Directions:

1. From Interstate 635, exit Hillcrest Rd.
2. Take the east-bound service road past Hillcrest to Park Central.
3. Turn right on Park Central.
4. Once on Park Central, you follow several twists and turns until you see the Park Central III building and turn into the parking lot.
5. The first building on the immediate left is actually the JC Penney building.

After hours, the JCPenney building should be accessible, but Park Central III is not. JC Penney is a 3 story building while Park Central III is much taller.

Note: Please allow plenty of time for your commute. Heavy delays can be expected on eastbound 635 due to closure of the leftmost lane on LBJ at Coit for construction of a new interchange.

We've recently received word that the building manager at the JC Penney building has closed off the remaining low-rise second-level public parking area that everyone usually uses, for some construction work.

The official place for non-employees to park is in the TALL parking tower next to it. The entrance to it is difficult to find, although there are signs saying Visitor Parking.

For those coming from Coit driving west along Banner toward Park Central, the entrance is just after the Benihana restaurant, near the four-way stop signs. It is before the road curves and much earlier than you expect.

For those coming from Hillcrest along the service road, you'll go south along Park Central as usual and turn left on Banner, again as usual. But when you come to the parking entrance you are accustomed to, just keep driving. Go around the curve and arrive at the four-way stop signs. Make a U-turn, drive 100 feet past the Benihana Restaurant and then turn right into the parking tower entrance.

JC Penney has decided to close the ground-level entrance into the low-rise building in which we have been meeting for construction safety reasons.

The official means of access is now via the high-rise building next door, by going down to the basement and walking through to the low-rise basement where we meet.

The high-rise building has revolving doors on the northeast and northwest corners, which are unmanned by security guards.

The high-rise building has a manned entrance on the east-middle side, as you come from the parking tower. Go inside the door and, if necessary, press the button and ask the guard to let you in.

* This east-side entrance is wheel-chair friendly *

All entrances are locked by computer sharply at 7 PM. For easier access, we recommend you arrive before 7 PM.

We plan to place signs around the building and have a few volunteers come early to guide you to the meeting.

Thanks for your patience. Hopefully JC Penney will complete their construction and things will get better.
